Meet the Author: Ian McNulty

Mid-Citizen Ian McNulty will be on hand this week for a book signing.

Unfortunately, we can all name exactly where we were three years ago this Friday.  Its what happened in the following months that we want to forget.  Ian McNulty, resident of Mid-City and author of the new book A Season of Night. New Orleans Life After Katrina; has now put into print just what those months after the storm was like and he will be at the market tomorrow to meet and greet and sign copies of his book. 

"A Season of Night" is a must read, it is hardly another of the "me too" accounts of the events of the levee failures following Hurricane Katrina.  Not laced at all with gooey patriotism or incurable anger, his novel is straightforward and incredibly detailed, and, sans hyperbole, tells the story of life in New Orleans immediately following the aftermath of Katrina. 

That and he supposedly has some nifty card tricks, so that's worth coming out to see as well.
